HIRED BY GERMAN COMPANY RITZENHOFF!
Out of
2,000 artisans and designers from around the world, Alison was one of 10
artists chosen to submit artwork ,for the Fall line of Beer and Schnapps
glasses. However, in order to make the ‘final cut’, a juried panel
consisting of all of the company’s directors , had to choose only 5 of out
the 10 designs. To her delight, not only was one design chosen, but
two...for the beer and schnapps glasses!
In September of 2009, you will be able to find her glasses in 30 countries,
all over the world. To find a retailer near you or to order online, click on
the RITZENHOFF section for a link, with pictures of the glasses.

ALLISON NAMED OFFICIAL ARTIST OF 2009 PECAN STREET
Allison’s
recent exhibition at Art on 5th Gallery sparked some interest with the city.
When the gallery asked her to paint a cityscape of the downtown skyline, she
depicted a whimsical, funky rendition of Austin. The piece, entitled “In the
Town Where We Live” , was sold to the director of the Pecan Street Art
Festival. As of Fall 2009, it will be the official image/logo AND PRINT for
the infamous event, which will be held the last weekend of September. |
